At this year’s SLU Block Party, children visited the Kid’s Area and selected a photograph of a South Lake Union landmark, business, public art installation, or embraced community location. Once a favorite photograph was selected, the child drew their interpretation of that location onto paper. In all, 23 images were selected and plotted onto a lively, simulated map of South Lake Union.
The map layout and design was created by talented local artist and graphic designer, Misha Zadeh Graham of Turquoise Creative. Poster sales will benefit The AIGA Link Program.
